Guest Services Volunteer Team
Do you know how to be invisible and visible at the same time? Then this team is for you. Help in the hospitality suite that serves the festival filmmakers and industry guests.
Please note that networking is not allowed. Volunteers are asked to bring a smile, a helpful attitude and an awareness of when and when not to engage with guests in the suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check guests into suite
- Monitor entry into guest suites
- Direct guests and filmmakers to proper venues/rooms
- Set out and replenish food trays
- Bus tables
- Serve hors d'oeuvres and drinks during Happy Hour
- Answer guest questions
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable handling food
- Awareness of when and when not to engage with guests
- Extended knowledge of festival operations a plus
- Some lifting may be needed
- Must be ok denying entry to guests without proper credentials
