01 Ticketing
How do I access my ticket? +
Viewing tickets on a web browser
- Go to tixr.com and log in to your Tixr account.
- Click your initials in the top-right corner and select Wallet from the menu.
- Find the Palm Springs International Film Awards event and click it.
- Select your order, then click a specific ticket to display its QR code for entry.
Viewing tickets in the Tixr app
- Open the Tixr app and log in.
- Tap Wallet in the bottom navigation bar.
- Select the Palm Springs International Film Awards event to see your orders.
- Tap the order to open it, then select a ticket to view its QR code.
How do I transfer a ticket? +
- Log in to your Tixr account on Tixr.com, or open the Tixr mobile app and log in using your account credentials.
- Access your Wallet:
- On web: Click your initials in the top-right corner, then select Wallet from the dropdown menu.
- On app/mobile: Tap Wallet in the bottom menu.
- Find the event that includes the ticket you’d like to transfer and open the event card.
- Click Transfer. The Transfer button will only appear if your tickets are eligible for transfer.
- Select one or more tickets from your order, then click Continue or Send.
- Enter the recipient’s email address. Make sure the email is correct — the transfer can only be accepted from the address you enter.
- Click Complete Transfer. The recipient will receive an email invitation to accept the tickets.
What happens after you transfer: The recipient must accept the transfer to complete the process. Once accepted, the tickets move to their Tixr account, and you will no longer have access to them.
Can I transfer my Benefactor Pass to a friend? +
- Tickets may be transferred between guests within your party before the transfer deadline, which is 12:00 PM PST on January 6, 2027.
- To transfer your order to a friend, log in to your Tixr account and go to My Events. Select the order you want to transfer and enter the recipient’s email address.
- After the transfer deadline on January 6, 2027 at 12:00 PM PST, tickets may become locked to the assigned attendee and can no longer be transferred. Tickets may not be resold.
How do I accept a transfer of a ticket? +
- Open the email with the subject line Ticket Transfer: Palm Springs International Film Awards.
- Click Accept in the email to open the ticket transfer page on Tixr.
- Log in using the same email address the tickets were sent to (or create a Tixr account).
- On the transfer page, click Accept Transfer to confirm and claim the tickets.
Important: You must log in with the same email address the tickets were transferred to. Tickets can’t be accepted under a different email. Viewing or canceling a transfer offer
- Log in to your Tixr account.
- Access your Wallet:
- On web browser: Click your initials in the upper-right corner, then select Wallet from the dropdown menu.
- On mobile app: Tap Wallet in the bottom menu.
- Find the event with the pending transfer offer.
- Tap or click Transfer.
- Select Recipients in the transfer window.
- Find the recipient’s email address.
- Click Cancel Offer if the transfer has not been accepted yet.
After you cancel the offer, the ticket will return to your Wallet immediately. You can then choose to resend the transfer or keep the ticket for yourself. For more information, click here.
I’m no longer able to attend — can I get a refund? +
All sales are final. Tickets, seats, tables, and sponsorship packages are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including for scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, illness, or personal circumstances. You’re welcome to transfer your ticket to another guest in your party before the transfer deadline. Any refund request may be submitted to FilmAwards@psfilmfest.org for review, though submission does not guarantee approval.
Can I buy tickets at the door? +
No. All seating is closed on January 6, 2027.
How do I add digital tickets to my mobile wallet? +
Adding tickets to your phone’s wallet lets you access them quickly at the venue, without searching through emails or logging in at the door. You can add eligible tickets using the Tixr app or by logging in at tixr.com on your mobile device.
- Open the Tixr app or visit tixr.com on your mobile device.
- Log in using the email address you used to purchase your tickets.
- Open your Tixr Wallet:
- Mobile web browser: Tap your initials in the upper-right corner, then select Wallet.
- Tixr app: Tap Wallet in the bottom menu.
- Select the event you want to access.
- Tap the order that contains your tickets.
- Scroll to the ticket QR codes, then tap Add to Wallet.
- When prompted, tap Add to confirm.
- Repeat the process for each ticket in the order.
Important: Tickets must be added individually. Scroll through the order to add each ticket one at a time.
Who is Tixr? +
Tixr is our official ticketing partner. All Film Awards tickets are purchased, stored, and managed through Tixr, so you’ll use your Tixr account to access your tickets and manage your order. Visit www.tixr.com.
02 Event Details
What is the schedule for the evening? +

What time should I arrive? +
Doors open at 4:30 PM. Please do not arrive before then. We recommend arriving between 4:00–5:00 PM to allow time for parking, security screening, and the red carpet before the program begins.
What time does the red carpet start? +
The Red Carpet usually starts around 4:30 PM.
Is dinner included? +
Yes — your ticket includes dinner, and you’ll select your meal choice in November when we send out your seating registration link.
How do I change my meal choice? +
In November you will receive an email from FilmAwards@psfilmfest.org finalizing your seating registration at the Film Awards, which includes your guest names and meal preferences. You will select your meal preference and vehicle credential needs in that form until December 27, 2026.
What do I do if I didn’t select my meal? +
Your meal choice defaults to the main selection, which is a meat option.
What is the dress code? +
Black Tie Attire. For gentlemen, this typically means a classic tuxedo paired with a black bow tie, a formal white dress shirt, and black dress shoes. Ladies are encouraged to wear elegant floor-length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses complemented by stylish heels and fine jewelry. While traditional black tie favors darker, more formal tones, tasteful modern variations are also welcomed.
Can guests under 21 attend? +
Yes, there is no age requirement to attend the Film Awards. Please note that alcohol service requires valid government-issued ID, and beverage providers may refuse service for any lawful reason.
Do I need to bring my ID? +
Yes. A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in, and may also be required for alcohol service.
Can I bring a bag? +
Yes, though all bags and personal belongings are subject to security screening, including metal detection, and you may be asked to open your bag at the door. Please be mindful of what you carry — if you wouldn’t take it through TSA, please leave it at home.
Am I allowed to bring a camera? +
Personal photography is permitted unless otherwise directed by Film Awards personnel. Prohibited items include professional cameras, video and audio recording equipment, livestreaming gear, drones, and selfie sticks, unless expressly authorized by PSIFS.
Will I be photographed at the event? +
Possibly. By attending, guests consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and grant PSIFS the right to use their name, image, and likeness for promotional, editorial, and archival purposes. Personal photography is welcome unless otherwise directed by event personnel.
Can I leave and re-enter the event? +
You’re free to move between the ballroom, lobby, and front of the building throughout the evening; you’ll simply be re-screened by security and asked to show your ticket each time you re-enter. However, once you exit the Convention Center property, you will not be permitted back inside. Please plan accordingly before stepping out.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible? +
Yes, the Palm Springs Convention Center is wheelchair accessible. Accessible seating is limited, subject to venue capacity, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you require accessible accommodations, please contact us at FilmAwards@psfilmfest.org before purchasing tickets so we can make every effort to accommodate your needs.
What are the terms & conditions? +
03 Seating & Tables
Will I be seated where I selected on the seating chart? +
Not necessarily. Your selection reserves a spot at the table, and seating within the table is open once you arrive, so feel free to settle in wherever you’re comfortable with your tablemates.
Can I sit with my friend? +
Yes, as long as you both buy seats at the same table. We are unable to move people after purchase, so be sure to coordinate before booking.
Can I upgrade my table or seat after I purchase? +
In some cases, yes. Chairman Members may upgrade to a seat with After Party access by paying the difference between their membership seat value and the selected seat price. Guests who purchased a full table may add up to two additional seats (maximum twelve per table), subject to availability and no later than the upgrade deadline on December 27, 2026. Other upgrades are based on availability.
I had a guest cancel last minute — what do I do? +
You’re welcome to transfer that guest’s ticket to a replacement guest within your party before the transfer deadline, which is 12:00 PM on January 6, 2027, through your Tixr account. After the transfer deadline, tickets may be locked to the assigned attendee. Please contact FilmAwards@psfilmfest.org for help.
04 Arrivals & Parking
What is the entrance procedure? +
As you approach the Convention Center, security vehicle sweeps will be in place. All vehicles must display their vehicle credential on the dash and clear the sweep to access the property. Please be mindful of what you bring — if you wouldn’t take it through TSA, it shouldn’t be in your vehicle or on your person. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted and directed to the Guest red carpet, which leads to check-in. Have your Tixr digital ticket (QR code) ready to scan and your photo ID on hand. After check-in, you’ll continue down the red carpet to the Convention Center lobby and walk through a metal detector. You may be asked to empty your pockets or open bags and purses for screening. No one is permitted in until cleared by security.
What is a vehicle credential? +
A physical credential that will be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle you arrive in at the Film Awards. In November you will receive an email from FilmAwards@psfilmfest.org finalizing your registration for the Film Awards. You will select your meal preference and vehicle credential needs. You can change your vehicle needs in your form until December 27, 2026. Starting January 2 you will be able to pick up your vehicle credentials and instructions. The specific details for where to pick up and the hours will be emailed to you in December and posted on the website here.
How do I get my vehicle credential? +
All vehicle credentials are available for pick-up in the Palm Grove Room at the Palm Springs Convention Center from January 2, 2027 to January 6, 2027. A map can be found here.
Can I pick up vehicle credentials for someone else? +
Where do I park? +
Valet and self-parking both open at 4:00 PM. To reach valet, enter heading south on Calle Alvarado, coming from Alejo Rd. Note that Calle Alvarado is a one-way street on event day. Amado Road is closed. To reach the Guest Lot, which includes self-parking or drop-off, enter off of Calle El Segundo.
Is there valet? +
Yes, and we strongly recommend it — valet is the simplest and quickest way to arrive. Complimentary valet is available at the front of the Convention Center.
What if I’m arriving by rideshare, with a driver, or in a large vehicle? +
If you arrive or depart by rideshare, with a driver, or in any vehicle larger than an SUV, you must enter the Guest lot (the Prairie Schooner lot) on the corner of Andreas and Calle El Segundo, across from the Hilton. Enter from Calle El Segundo, and Resort Parking will direct you to self-parking or the drop-off area. From the lot, walk east to the sidewalk and then north to the guest entrance. A complimentary shuttle is available for those who prefer not to walk. Drop-offs and pickups are not allowed on Amado or on Alvarado in front of the Convention Center. The only vehicles that have access to the front of the Convention Center are Valet-credentialed vehicles and Red Carpet-credentialed vehicles. All other vehicles will be turned away.
I have ADA needs — where can I be dropped off? +
If you are ADA arriving via self-park, rideshare, or driver, you will still need to be dropped off in the Guest Lot. A parking attendant will direct your driver to the drop-off area. We have shuttles available that will drive you around to the front of the Convention Center so that you do not need to walk. If you are ADA arriving via Valet, you will be dropped off at the front of the Convention Center. The shuttles will also be available at the end of the show.
05 After Party
Does my seat include the After Party? +
The After Party is included for seats at the Premier level ($1,500) and up, and for tables at the Angel level ($10,000) and up. Possession of a Film Awards ticket does not guarantee After Party access unless it’s expressly included with your ticket type.
How do I get into the After Party? +
If your seat grants After Party access, a staff member will place a wristband on you at check-in — there are no separate After Party tickets. The wristband is required for entry and is subject to venue capacity and security screening. The After Party is held at the Parker. All guests must valet, as no other parking is available; valet is complimentary. You’ll be asked to show your wristband before entering the hotel lobby, then pass through metal detectors before entering the party. Coat check is available.
What if I arrive at the After Party without a wristband? +
Visit the Resolution Desk in Valet upon arrival at the Parker. Provide your first and last name and a staff member will check the guest list. If your name is not on the list, you will not be permitted into the hotel.
06 Tax Letters
When will I receive my tax letter? +
Your tax letter will be sent by January 31, 2027.
Who do I reach out to if I haven’t received my tax letter? +
I’m purchasing for a group of people — can you send each person a tax letter? +
No. We can only issue a tax-deductible letter to the person or company that purchased the seats, table, or pass. You will need to have your accountant make the adjustment and create the individual letters.
