Palm Springs International Film Festival Announces 2021 Dates

PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2021 DATES

Palm Springs, CA (February 3, 2020) - The Palm Springs International Film Society has announced the dates for the 32nd annual Palm Springs International Film Festival. Festival dates will be Thursday, January 7 through Monday, January 18, 2021. Highlights include:

·On Thursday, January 7, the annual Film Awards Gala will kick off the festival at the Palm Springs Convention Center. This year's event, hosted by Mary Hart, honored Antonio Banderas, Laura Dern, Adam Driver, Cynthia Erivo, Jamie Foxx, Zack Gottsagen, Jennifer Lopez, Joaquin Phoenix, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Charlize Theron and Renée Zellweger. More than 2,500 guests attend the event. Tickets go on sale August 1.

·The screening portion of the festival will run Friday, January 8 through Monday, January 18. On January 8, the festival will run all day screenings with the official Opening Night screening taking place that evening at Richards Center for the Arts.

· The festival will close on Sunday, January 17, with Best of the Fest screenings taking place Monday, January 18.
