Welcome to the 30th International ShortFest hosted by the Palm Springs International Film Society! We're delighted to have you join us in the desert for this exciting event. Tailored with filmmakers in mind, this festival is crafted to be your platform for showcasing your work. Your participation is at the heart of this event, and we're dedicated to supporting you every step of the way. Our primary aim is to assist you in promoting your film, expanding your professional network, and maximizing your experience here in Palm Springs. Credential Pickup and Check-in
Before you can enjoy the full line up of films and events, you'll need to pickup your pass! Stop by the V Channels Filmmakers Lounge inside the San Jacinto room at the Renaissance Palm Springs, located at 888 E Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262
Your pass will get you into screenings and parties. For screenings, please enter the passholder line with your pass, one hour prior to screening start time. Seating will begin approximately 40min prior to showtime.
Additional tickets can be purchased online at www.psfilmfest.org, on the phone or at the box office starting in early June.

V Channels Filmmakers Lounge
The V Channels Filmmakers Lounge is the casual hangout spot located at our host hotel, Renaissance Palm Springs.

HOW TO ATTEND YOUR Q&A
A group Q&A will take place after each program screening with all attending filmmakers for that program.
Upon arrival at the venue, please check in at the Filmmaker Check-In Desk, stationed near the main entrance at the Regal Palm Springs, at least 30 minutes prior to your screening time to meet your programmer!
Please note that public transportation is not readily available in the Palm Springs area and the weather will be extremely warm, so be sure to plan ahead and not rely on walking to and from the theater for long distances.
How to attend a Film
HOW TO NAVIGATE WITH AN INDUSTRY OR FILMMAKER PASS
- Reservations are NOT required with a badge
- You MUST wear your badge for entry into screenings, parties, and Forum Events
- Passes will be scanned and are NON-TRANSFERRABLE (can't be shared between people!)
- Enter the "Passholder" line for the film you wish to see*
- It is recommended you arrive 45 minutes prior to show time. Lines begin forming no earlier than 1 hour before showtime.
- *Queue cards will be given out until the pass allotment is reached
- For instructions on attending YOUR OWN FILM, see HOW TO ATTEND YOUR Q&A above
*Queue Cards- Passholders can obtain a Queue card while waiting for entry into the specified theater 45 minutes before a film screening until the pass holder allocation is reached. Keep this Queue card while waiting to enter the theater. You do not need to wait in line.
THE QUEUE CARD GUARANTEES YOU ENTRY UP TO 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCREENING. After 20 minutes entry is not guaranteed. Queue cards are given to determine the pass holder seating as quickly as possible. (1) Queue card per pass holder present only. THE QUEUE CARD MUST BE PRESENTED WITH A VALID PASS FOR ADMITTANCE.

Video Film Library
The ShortFest Video Library is a digital library that consists of hundreds of ShortFest 2024 Official Selection and submitted films that filmmakers have opted-in to share with accredited sales agents, distributors, and other industry representatives.
The Video Library is hosted on FilmFreeway and accredited Industry are given access to participating films' FilmFreeway submission screeners. The Video Library is not a public screening, so it will not affect a film's premiere status.
In-person viewing stations will be available at the V Channels Filmmakers Lounge.
