The 33rd annual Festival is scheduled January 6 - January 17, 2022 with the Film Awards Gala on January 6.
On January 6 the Film Awards will be held at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Film screenings begin Friday, January 7 including the Opening Night presentation that evening and will conclude with Best of Fest on January 17.
The Palm Springs Film Society has one priority above all else- to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved with this event- guests, sponsors, media, honorees, vendors and staff. Depending on the COVID-19 conditions at the time of the event proof of vaccination, testing and/or mask mandates may be required.

- Film Awards seats and tables and Festival pass sales will begin September 1, 2021.
- Individual tickets will be on sale in December, 2021.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in North America, welcoming over 135,000 attendees each year for its lineup of new and celebrated international features and documentaries.
