Boushra, one of the Syrian potato-picking girls in Lebanon, returns from a long day of work in the field only to learn that today her childhood will come to an end.
After hearing the myths of werewolves returning to Iceland, 8-year-old Þröstur has more to worry about than just the elves and trolls. On one full-moon night Þröstur wakes and sees his older sister Dagný’s bed is empty. He finds blood on her sheets, and believes his sister is becoming a werewolf.
