HOW TO ATTEND SCREENINGS WITH A PASS

IMPORTANT! OUR PASS PROCESS HAS CHANGED.  Please read the information below to ensure you understand the changes you will encounter moving forward.

  1. Passholders will be required to reserve a spot for screenings they wish to attend in advance.  Passholders will enjoy reservation days before ticket sales.  We suggest reviewing the schedule and reserving your screenings during passholder reservation days (June 2 - 5, 2022) to offer the best chance of attending the programs you wish to see.
  2. Attending screenings:
    1. Lines will form outside the theater and we will begin seating approximately 40 minutes prior to showtime.
    2. Queue cards will no longer be given out in passholder lines, again you must pre-reserve a spot in order to attend a screening - for the best selection, please reserve during passholder reservation dates.
    3. All passes will be scanned upon entry, if you haven’t pre-reserved a spot, access will be denied, and you will be asked to go to the box office to check on availability. There is no guarantee that a seat will be available at that time.  We highly recommend that you pre-reserve a spot before arriving at the theater for uninterrupted entry.
    4. You must be in your seat 15 minutes prior to showtime.  If you fail to show, your spot may be sold to those customers on stand-by.
    5. NO LATE SEATING.  If the program starts and you haven’t arrived, you will be denied entry (even if there are seats available).  Late seating is disruptive to the audience.

I am a filmmaker and want to attend ShortFest

If your film has been selected to screen at ShortFest 2022 OR you submitted a film for consideration to ShortFest 2022, there are alternative passes available to you. Please check with the person(s) responsible for submitting your film as they will be receiving correspondence regarding these options. You may also email info@psfilmfest.org.
If you are a filmmaker that did not submit a film, please choose from one of the pass options above.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Screening capacity will be limited to no more than 75%.  Due to rising COVID cases, the Palm Springs Film Society will require facemasks to be worn by all attendees indoors at all times along with proof of vaccination.  All requirements are included on the link below:
