ShortFest 2022 applications for Industry and Media accreditation are currrently being accepted.
The 28th Palm Springs International ShortFest will be back with in-person screenings at the Camelot Theatres (Palm Springs Cultural Center) from June 21-27 as well as in-person classes and panels as part of the ShortFest Forum.
Industry applications is now closed.
An Industry Pass entitles the bearer to the following: 21 shorts program screenings including Opening Night & Closing Night screenings (advanced reservation required for all screenings), Forum panels, Filmmaker and Industry Lounge, and virtual film market.
- The in-person fee is $150.00 USD per person
- Option for Virtual Film Market Only is available for $100 per person
Accreditation applications must be received no later than May 31, 2022. Late applications will be accepted through June 10, but we can not guarantee seating availability if an application is received and approved after May 31. On-site applications/registration will NOT be accepted.

All press wishing to attend ShortFest in-person or virtually must submit an application. Media attending ShortFest in-person will receive a Media Pass which entitles the bearer to the following: 21 shorts program screenings including Opening Night & Closing Night screenings (advanced reservation required for all screenings), Forum panels, and Filmmaker and Industry Lounge. Media may have access to approved official selection film links upon request.
All applications must be received by June 3, 2022. We will not accept media accreditation requests after this date.
You will be notified by our Public Relations team after June 6, 2022 regarding your approval status.
