Anna was born and raised in Metro Detroit and studied film and screenwriting at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is a Los Angeles based filmmaker and strives to tell stories with truth that find common ground between people of polarizing backgrounds. Anna is a 2018 Jim Cummings' Short to Feature Lab Fellow and is in post production on her feature film "Disfluency" (based off of her award-winning short film "Disfluency") with Executive Producers Jim Cummings, Ben Wiessner, and Alex Rudolph in association with Vanishing Angle. She is the media partner of SafeBAE, an organization founded by the survivors of Netflix's Audrie & Daisy. She works in TV as the Manager of Development at Monami Productions in Beverly Hills, CA.
