director biography

Inbar Horesh was born in 1988 in Jerusalem. She studied Arabic in Cairo and dedicated her time to human rights struggles before turning to Cinema. Inbar studied four years of script writing and directing at Minshar Academy in Tel Aviv, were she works today as a directing teacher and lecture. During her studies Inbar directed several short film which participated in International film festival. Her short film The Visit premiered at the 2014 Cinéfondation selection at the Cannes Film Festival, was finalist nominee at the Israeli Academy Awards, shown in over 50 film festivals, and won several awards. Her documentary Crossing premiered at the 2015 DocAviv International Film Festival. Currently, Inbar is working on the full length version for her short film Birth Right. Inbar is a resident of the Tel Aviv municipality Writer's Block residency and is the artistic director of Minshar's Academy's project "In/Justice."
