director biography

Mila Zhluktenko, born in February of 1991 in Kiew, is a ukrainian-german filmmaker. At the age of 13 she and her family moved from Ukraine to Germany, where she successfully graduated high school and started her studies in the documentary and television directing course at the University of Television and Film in Munich. Since her enrolment there, in 2014, Mila has directed several short films including her latest short documentary film Find Fix Finish. Her films have been screened at prestigious film festivals worldwide, winning multiple awards. Festival selections include the San Sebastián International Film Festival, Melbourne International FF, Vancouver International FF, IDFA International FF and many more. Furthermore she is a scholarship holder of the Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk.
